The first and foremost tip is to not invest in any more tools, if at all possible!

Tip number two... Fill a small tool box with only the necessary basics. (i.e. claw hammer, phillips & flathead screwdrivers, cordless drill & bits, tape measure, level, vise grip, needle nose & channel lock pliers, cresent wrench & socket set.)

Tip number three... Start giving away your tools to family and friends. Tell your son-in-law that he can have your drill press but he must come and remove it from the basement!

We have seen expensive tools go to the scrap yard because they rusted from a damp basement.

We have also seen portable electric tool batteries leak and damage everything in several tool box drawers.

Finally, ask family & friends to stop giving you tools for Christmas & Birthday presents.
